What happens if there is leftover concrete?
Leftover concrete will be recycled, there is a cost depending on how much is returned.
How do I pay for concrete?
There are 3 methods for payment, credit card (master card or visa) bank transfer or cash. All concrete needs to be paid for before delivery.
How long can I have the truck on site for?
We allow 45 minutes for the truck on site after 45 minutes there is a charge of $2.20 per minute thereafter.
How much does concrete cost?
Hit the get a quote tab and fill out the information, don’t forget to put in the message what strength concrete, how many m3, delivery on weekday or weekend and any other relevant information.
Are there samples of what you can supply?
We do have some samples on display in Queanbeyan, contact us to organise a time to view them.
What strength concrete do I need for my project?
If the concrete is for a standard footpath, driveway, patio or garden shed get in contact with us and we will be able to advise you on what you require.
Why does concrete crack?
Concrete, like all other materials, will slightly change in volume when it dries out. In typical concrete this change amounts to about 500 millionths. Translated into dimensions-this is about 1.5mm in 3 meters. The reason that contractors put joints in concrete pavements and floors is to allow the concrete to crack in a neat, straight line at the joint when the volume of the concrete changes due to shrinkage.
What strength does concrete come in?
Normal class concrete comes in 20MPa, 25MPa, 32MPa and 40MPa with either a 10/7mm aggregate or 20/14mm aggregate. If you have any special requirements please contact us.
